# Set up Querymemo

One command for your AI CLI, one Google sign-in, then ask about your own site. You need Node.js 20 or later and a Google account that can see your site in Search Console.

> **Not yet public.** The npm package goes public at launch, and the commands appear on this page that day. Until then, [get the launch email](https://querymemo.com/pricing#waitlist) to hear when it happens.

## Claude Code

_The command is shown here at launch._

Then run `npx querymemo login` once and restart Claude Code.

## Codex CLI

_The command is shown here at launch._

Then run `npx querymemo login` once and restart Codex.

## Grok CLI

_The command is shown here at launch._

Grok takes the launch command first and its arguments after `--`. Then run `npx querymemo login` once and restart Grok.

## Or let Querymemo do it

_The command is shown here at launch._

`init` finds Claude Code, Codex and Grok on your machine, registers Querymemo in each one (for every project), opens Google sign-in in your browser, and shows your Search Console sites to pick from. Type to filter the list, use the arrow keys to move, press space to pick a site, Ctrl+A to pick all that your plan allows, and Enter to save.

## What Google shows you

Google asks you to choose an account, then shows what Querymemo is asking for: "View Search Console data for your verified sites", plus your email address. Google may show that line with an empty box: tick it, or sign-in stops and asks you to try again. That access is read-only. Querymemo can't change anything in Search Console. When you allow it, your browser shows "Querymemo is connected" and you can go back to the terminal.

## Ask your first question

Open your CLI in any folder and ask in plain words. For example:

- "What should I write next for example.com?"
- "Which page on example.com should I improve first, and how?"
- "What changed on example.com this week, and is it me or Google?"
- "Is https://example.com/pricing indexed?"

The answers name the property and the dates. Ask your CLI to show the numbers behind any call.

## Plans

The free plan covers one website. If you ask about a second one, the answer says your plan covers one site and links to [your account](https://querymemo.com/account), where you can swap the site or see [the plans](https://querymemo.com/pricing).

## If something doesn't work

- **"Querymemo isn't signed in":** run `npx querymemo login`.
- **The tools don't show up:** restart your CLI after adding Querymemo. In Claude Code, `/mcp` lists connected servers; in Codex, `codex mcp list`; in Grok, `grok mcp list`.
- **No sites listed:** the Google account you signed in with has no verified Search Console property. Add one at [search.google.com/search-console](https://search.google.com/search-console), then run `npx querymemo sites`.
- **Anything else:** `npx querymemo status` shows the account, plan and sites. Email [hello@querymemo.com](mailto:hello@querymemo.com) with what it says.

## Remove Querymemo

```sh
npx querymemo logout
```

That revokes Querymemo's Google access and deletes the token from your keychain. Remove the server from your CLI with `claude mcp remove --scope user querymemo`, `codex mcp remove querymemo` or `grok mcp remove --scope user querymemo`. To delete your account, use [your account page](https://querymemo.com/account).
