Querymemo

Querymemo vs mcp-gsc, SEO Gets and GSC Wizard

An honest comparison of four ways to use Google Search Console from an AI assistant, including where each of the others is better than Querymemo. Facts about the other products come from their own pages and code, read on 2026-10-28 and linked below. Querymemo is ours, so check our claims too: the docs show real answers and the client goes open source at launch.

The short answer

  • Pick Querymemo if you work in Claude Code, Codex or Grok and want decisions (what to write, what to fix, what changed) computed on your own machine, with your Search Console data going from Google to your computer and never to our server.
  • Pick mcp-gsc if you want a free, open-source Python server today with no account at all, and you're happy to create your own Google Cloud credentials.
  • Pick SEO Gets if you want a hosted dashboard with client portals and team seats, and an MCP that works in Claude on the web and on your phone.
  • Pick GSC Wizard if you need many properties, Bing and Yandex today, years of stored history, or write tools such as sitemap and IndexNow submission.

The differences in one paragraph each

Querymemo vs mcp-gsc: both run on your computer and read Search Console straight from Google. mcp-gsc is free and MIT-licensed, needs no account, and asks for full read-write access (webmasters) through Google Cloud credentials you create yourself. Querymemo asks for read-only access, signs in with one command, reads every row up to 50,000 per window, uses finished days only and adds decision tools. It needs a free querymemo.com account, created when you first sign in.

Querymemo vs SEO Gets: SEO Gets is a hosted dashboard. Its MCP builds answers on its servers and works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile and in ChatGPT, from $49 a month for the first site; its free sites aren't available through the MCP. Querymemo runs on your computer inside Claude Code, Codex or Grok, your Search Console data never reaches our server, and it's free for one site.

Querymemo vs GSC Wizard: GSC Wizard is hosted. It covers Bing, Yandex, GA4 and Merchant Center today, stores up to 10 years of history and can submit sitemaps and IndexNow, from €17 a month for 15 properties after a 7-day trial. Querymemo is local and read-only, free for one site, and $29 a month for 20 once paid plans open after the beta. Bing is still to come.

Where mcp-gsc is better

  • It's free and MIT-licensed, with no account and no limit on properties. 2,041 people had starred it on GitHub on 2026-10-28.
  • It can submit sitemaps and, with a safety flag set, add and delete sites. Querymemo is read-only on purpose and can't.
  • Its default shows Google's freshest, still-processing days, which matches the Search Console dashboard. Querymemo waits for finished days.

Where SEO Gets is better

  • A web dashboard, client portals, weekly summaries and unlimited team users, none of which a terminal tool has.
  • It works in Claude on the web and on mobile and in ChatGPT, with nothing to install.
  • Its Super Site add-on keeps up to 5 years of history and checks indexing for up to 5,000 sitemap URLs.

Where GSC Wizard is better

  • Bing, Yandex, GA4 and Merchant Center today, and write tools including sitemap and IndexNow submission.
  • Far more properties per euro: 15 for €17 a month.
  • Up to 10 years of stored history, BigQuery import, alerts and scheduled reports.

Where Querymemo is different

  • Search Console data never reaches our server. Google sends Search Console rows to the Querymemo process on your computer; our server holds only your account and the hostnames on your plan (privacy).
  • Decisions from rules we run on our own sites. improve_page uses your own CTR curve (or a published benchmark where yours is lower or too thin, and says which) and names the words your title must keep; next_article groups searches into one intent each and checks whether a page is built for them; what_changed checks your other sites for the same drop on the same day.
  • Read-only twice. The scope can't write, and the code refuses any call that isn't a read.
  • Next to your repo. Because it runs where you work, later tools will tie your commits to the clicks before and after.
